Ly Do (Full name in Vietnamese: Do Viet Ly)

Ly began his career in 1975 at Reunification Hotel (Thong Nhat Hotel) in Hanoi-Vietnam, gaining valuable experience after training at Tourism & Hospitality College. During his thirty five years as a chef he has also worked at the Sofitel Metropole Hotel Hanoi Vietnam (as Head Chef for 10 years), Hoan Kiem Hotel in Hanoi Vietnam (as Head Chef for 7.5 years), Hason Hotel in Praha Czech Republic (as Head Chef for 3 years), Phoenicia Intercontinental in Beirut Lebanon (as Head Chef for 1 year), Thang Long Hotel & Restaurant in Berlin Germany (as Head Chef for 1 year), from November 2008 to present, Ly is working as an Executive Chef at Halong Hotel in Berlin Germany.
Ly has also run many training courses for many 4-5 stars Hotels around the world such as Sari Pacific Hotel -Jakarta Indonesia in 1990, Acacia Hotel - Indonesia in 1999, Queen Park Hotel - Thailand in 2000, Holiday Hotel - Japan in 2003-2004. Ly is also a teacher at Tourism & Hospitality College - Hanoi - Vietnam, the institution where he was trained to be a Chef.
Ly's style of cuisine is mostly influenced by the classical French and Vietnamese with an emphasis on best quality produce, cooked in an uncomplicated style. Taste was first class.
